Total Access and Impact has partnered with Housing Authority agencies across the country to help transition families and make way for more families in need. We begin with the basics: all families living in public housing are renters. This is a great first step.

Our Work

Through our sponsor, Rental Kharma, we ensure these families get credit for their monthly rent payments. With an unbelievable 50% of residents having no credit, reporting rent can transform them from credit invisible to prime credit. This significant change opens doors to financial opportunities previously out of reach.

We help families understand the importance of credit, recognize predatory lenders, and maintain a healthy, realistic budget, enabling them to thrive. Each resident is matched with a credit mentor/ accountability partner who helps them navigate their unique credit situations and provide assurance along the way. Bad credit or no credit is a major roadblock to access, but good credit paves the way to success.
